Hi all,

This are the rules and regulations for my tagboard, I will not be touching the common stuff that everyone know are not allowed, like defaming and stuff like that.

1.You are allowed to talk about anything, yup, that includes how much something suxs and stuff like that.

2.Advertising for your blog is allowed, but please do not say something like: "yoyoyo come my blog then get$$$!."

3.Spam is defined as anything that contains explicits, vulgars and undesirable content(quoted from Mr.T in assembly all the way back in term 1) and the way of advertising as metioned above.
Yes, talking about non-sensical things are allowed and taking up multiple post is also allowed, but I may delete them if they get really out of hand, but that is it. (TimT is really happy now.)

4.Please do not name anyone not in our class or blogging circle without their permission, anything that is not directly the name is allowed like, Brney, Barny, the purple T-Rex and you get the idea... You will not be banned for this offence as I have no way of finding out. So please, be nice.

5.Spammers would be treated according to case. Anyone in their real name and I know you will first have spam post deleted, warning, second warning then ban, (minimum 1 day, increasing by the number of offences.) Anyone not in their real name or I don't know will go straight to warning.

6.Ok... I am just saying this to protect myself. You are responsible for what you say. Creator of Mondaysblue.blogspot.com will not be held responsible for any lawsuit, lost in reputation, eternal negative effects caused by your own post. (You can sue Cbox.com if you want to.) All rights reserved by Creator of Mondaysblue.blogspot.com (Yar Man I Rock! This Is My Turf Yar!!!)

7.Negative constructive comments are welcomed with open hands. But a positive comment is very nice too.

Cheers,
Ziying

Hi all,

Here is my second NXT Creation I did during the holidays! (I would not be posting about my third one for quite some time.)

My second and the one that I am most proud in yet! MG NEST!

I found instructions on the Internet on how to build this, (yup, still not smart enough to create one myself.) This thing is a machine gun, on automatic, it fires away all 10 1*3 blocks in less than 3 seconds. The clip can only hold 10 at a time but an additional 5 can be added when the clip block is removed. The accuracy is 60% when the target is a metre far. The machine gun will tremble a lot when it is been fired and believe me, you do not want to be a target. Even if this thing maybe a toy. The long black stick at the right side of the gun will hit the 1*2 blocks when the touch sensor is pressed.(Press means going down without coming up.) The black stick will spin at 8 revolution per second and it will the blocks, sending it flying. Therefore, the accuracy is not high. Marks will also be left on the blocks. I have tried tieing a tiny piece of eraser to the stick so that marks will not be left. It works, but it reduces the range by 50% and accuracy 10%. Anyway, I also wrote a semi-automatic program. In this program, the stick will only spin one revolution when the touch sensor is bumped.(Bumped means pressed and released.) It is a complete failure, not only it fire two blocks at a time, but with reduced force and 75% of the blocks will not be fired successfully. I think I am sticking to fully-automatic for now.

Hi all,

Hey guys how is it going? By now you should be grasping my blog's content, right? I tend to avoid serious or negative stuff and try to make everything as interesting as possible, unless it is very large-scale and I care about it a lot, like Earth-Day. So, in this post, I should be talking about Mother's Day! Not Mother's Day in general but the present I made for my Mom! (YAY! I AM EGOISTIC!)

Initial Idea: 5 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with strings.
I bought 5 flowers on Saturday, came back with it, fill up a bottle with water and left the flowers in it near a window until Sunday. (I actually left them on the carpet but the bottle fell on its own,(seriously), spilling water all over the carpet.) Then today I took the flower out,(they still have not being cut at all, BTW) got some needles and strings and did something crazy with them,(No, not going on a mad killing spree with a needle.)I poke the needle with string through the stem of the flower. I struggled with the strings and trying to keep the flower upright and poking needle through the flower for 1 hour.

2nd Idea: 5 cut flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string, on a platform made of ice cream stick.
Pretty self explanatory, ay? I got some ice-cream stick, arranged two layers, glued them together. Then, I cut the flowers, fumbled with them for a while, realising again that they still cannot stand on their own as white glue ages long to dry.

3rd Idea: (I don't know how did I get this Idea.) 4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick.
This is by far the most ridiculous thing I did with a needle, I hammered 4 of them into the platform and eventually ended up with 2/3 of the needle on the underside of the platform.
I pulled the needles out again, place the stem in position, and hammered the needles into the stem, into the platform. Now, the flowers are all secured in position but the flower head is not going down enough to form a heart shape and the flowers can freely spin 360 degree.

4th Idea: 4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick and the flower head is being pulled down by a string tied to it with the other end of the string tied to the needle.
And that is exactly what I did, now, they form a heart shape more or less but they can still spin freely.

5th Idea:4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick and the flower head is being pulled down by a string tied to it with the other end of the string tied to the needle. The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together.
You get the idea. And by now, I noticed that the strings pulling the flowers down were unnecessary as the central flower is securing their position, but still does not solve the problem of spinning.

6th Idea:4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together.
The spinning problem is still not solved....

7th Idea:4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together. Needles were used to poke through the stems at the side along with the central stem.
This is pretty hard to explain, you will get the idea when you see the picture. Then my dad suggest me to write something on it.

8th Idea: 4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together. Needles were used to poke through the stems at the side along with the central stem. The petals in the flower in the middle were spread out by hand and a message was place in it.
YAY! Photo time! Now you will get what I mean!

Click on the picture, you will get what I am trying to say the whole time. Believe it or not, I actually made this with next to no or NO planning at the start! Sorry, I am not that good at describing stuff. And plus, a picture is worth a thousand word, YAY TECHNOLOGY!!!!

Hi all,

In this post, in order to meet the criteria of the blog posts, I am FORCED to talk about Animal Farm. I will try to make this as entertaining as my low-levelled creativity allowed, ok... Here goes nothing!

There was a story about animals,
Food been given to them was minimal.
The farmer was cruel, and they suffered,
He used to be good, now he's a drunkard.
A pig called Old Major had an idea,
All animals will get the same quota.
Food,Water,Work load will all be the same,
For all animals that is what he aimed.
They were all inspired and they unite,
The pigs became leader, it seemed alright.
Finally, one day they all revolute,
Out went Jones who changed after a lawsuit.
Oh the Joy! They galloped, they slept, they ate,
Mr Jones' reign they all then cremate.
Snowball, Napoleon, Squealer were leaders,
They gave out instructions to all creatures.
They memorised Major's every sentence,
Turned them into The Seven Commandments.
At first Animal Farm started out well,
But after corruption it became hell.
Snowball, he was expelled by vicious dogs,
And Squealer used his talent to befog.
What really took place,helping Napoleon,
His cruelty had stained the ground crimson.
The animals were no longer equal,
The pigs had their rations more than doubled.
The utopia that everyone hoped for,
Was actually even worse than before.

Is there anyone still alive!? Hello!? It was a little too boring...

Cheers,
Ziying
Guy who just wrote a boring poem.

Hi all,

Remember the Mindstorm NXT Creations I promised to show you guys? Well here it is! But first, this is a photo of my Mindstorm NXT Set!

Looks like a bunch of crap and stuff, right? Right! They are a bunch of crap and stuff, but with a manual, hand, and an incredible amount of free time, those small craps becomes a big crap!

Here is its entry on my short-attention-spanned journal.

My first official creation! SPIKE!
It is Spike the scorpion! Able to climb walls and shoot deadly corrosive poison! Not really... The claws are just for decorations purposes and they do nothing except getting in its own way. The tail, however, can shoot out and retract. The tail uses Motor A and it will move 70 degree for the tail head which is the touch sensor, to attack just in front of the head. It work like this.
First, it would "walk" for about 3 seconds, then it will scan for anything in its path within the range of 15cm. The head is actually a ultrasonic sensor. If there is an object within the range of 15 cm, Motor A will activate, sending the tail shooting in front. Here is when the touch sensor come in, when the touch sensor hit something, the tail will immediately retract, if it doesn't, it will land on the ground and the tail will retract anyway. Then, it will turn 90 degree left and continue "walking" on.
Some problems and adjustment are that it move really slow and that turning is not its strong point. An adjustment had to be made with the ultrasonic sensor. The original version called the head to facing 45 degree upwards instead of parallel to the ground. This thus messes up the distance from an obstacle it obtains from the scanning, some obstacles which are too short will also be missed. It works fine after the adjustment. Another problem was that some obstacles might just be out of range for the trigger range. Therefore Spike will move forward for another 3 second and it will knock into the obstacle and look very stupid as the legs moved on and on while the head is forced against the obstacle before it does another scan and realise that something was in its way. This problem was never solved.

Hi all,

Woah! Surprised by all the changes? Blogskin of mario, music player, yup, my blog is new and improved! *Level Up* Anyway, here is the summarise of all the changes.

1.Trashed post template.
Reason: Too troublesome

2.Changed blogskin. With Lots of help from Mathew and guidance from Justin.
Reason: Too you seriously like the old one!?

3.No more label.
Reason: OK... This one wasn't delieberate but when I change the blogskin, I cannot add in the label automatically and believe me going through the template to add in languages that you don't even understand is not normal even by my standard.

4.Songz!
Reason: YAY! Songz are cool! Please at least stay till the third song. I love the first two songs! You guys should really be gratefull, I spent at least 6 hours finding the songs, deciding between imeem and mixpod, which mixpod eventually won and testing it over and over again to make sure it works. Thanks Yi Zhe! For staying up in the night to guide me on this!

5.Comments are a no more!
Reason: Ok... As much as I like you guys commenting and reading your comments, I am a total noob at html and I don't know how to insert the comment function, sigh... The changes are not all good...

Well!? 5 big changes and staying up till 12 a.m. and now I am finally satisfied, I shall now work on my posts! Onwards to the brighter future!

It's me,Mario!

Hi all,

Today I open a new label called: "Stuff about me". It is basically about what I did and what my room look like. No, I DO NOT HAVE A EGOISTIC STREAK, AND I AM NOT GETTING SELF-CENTERED, it is just that I can't come up with any better name for the label. Maybe you can help me out? Anyway, this is the latest one.
I got a Mindstorm NXT when it was about the end of 2008, actually I was gonna get a PSP but I suddenly felt that a Mindstorm will be cheaper and more fun. So my parents bought me one. It is like $100 more than a PSP, ironic huh. Anyway, I started messing around with the parts during the December Holiday and made about 3 creations. I will be posting about them in the othere posts. But now the mindstorm NXT is safely kept in the closet, along with my other short-attention-spanned stuff, collecting dust. I shall be posting about them in the next post.

Hi all,

Sorry for not posting for quite a long time, my computer has been (if you would excuse the term) screwed up, and installing the 4++GB Adobe CS4 only added to the problem and made it(Warning:Singlish coming up) laggier. Anyway don't anticipate that I will be too active in posting next week either. There is like (Some may consider this explicit or vulgar) freaking 6 tests next week. But at least this post let you guys know that I am still alive and kicking, So There.

Hi all,

As you know, but most likely not, I am rather ok at drawings. Ok, I am nothing compared to those guys at Art Elective programme. I cannot really draw my own things or characters out of thin air. Instead, I am good at copying things, (not tracing, tracing are for kids) everything from 3-D to 2-D,(as if there is anything in between, LOLOLOL geddit?), but I am still not rather skillfull at drawing faces.
Here are some sketches, I hope they do not make you blind...

My first sketch on a 3-D thing, drawn during a very boring geography lecture. Took me about 30 minutets to 1 hour. It is caculator, in case it is too ugly for you to make it out. Not really my finest work...

Drawn today, (I can't find all the sketch between the first one and the second one, so there.) During a very very boring Japanese class. Took me about 10 minutes to 30 minutes. They are the speakers and the computers. Still not good enough...

Ahh... My masterpiece... I drawn this today after the second one when the Japanese Class reaches the climax of boredom, I decided that I had enough of rough sketches, I am going to make a complete work! So I draw and draw and erase and erase. It took me about 2 hours - 3 hours, but it my best work till today! Quick! Click it fullscreen to marvel at it! Quick! By the way, it is a handphone.

Wonder what will I be able to draw next time...

Hi all,

This happened about one week after "LOL slices 2". After school.*FLASHBACK SCENE*

It was on Tuesday, when I am released at 1.20p.m. on time. I suddenly had a snack attack which I was overcomed by a immense urge to get some fried food. The canteen did not serve fried food and neither did I feel like eating from poolside.(Picky snack attack.)
So I decided to take bus all the way home and I could get off 5 stops before my house to get to McDonald, it seemed like a foolproof plan...
So I got onto the bus and found a seat, the sleepy atmosphere made me (Guess What?) sleepy.
I leaned sidewards, deciding to take a nap...
Huh? Woah, where am I? Holy Crap! I am at the last stop! I got off the bus immediately, Thankfully, that place had a MRT, (Buona Vista), so I could get home without taking too much time.
But I had still not satisfied my snack attack,( It is more like a war by now...), so I went into this giant shopping mall and not mattered how much I searched, I couldn't find McDonald, but there was a Burger King, so I just went in and bought myself a Double Mushroom Swiss, I decided to save it for later and I went for the MRT.
I saw this on the MRT Board just outside the MRT.(You know, those things on top on the ceiling that tells you what train arrive when...)

You don't see that everyday...

Cheers,
Ziying

P.S: Wondering why I wanted to go to McDonald the whole time? They have the EZ-link card reader that you can use to pay your burger. Nothing else

Hi all,

Ok, I did this about some weeks ago during class. In the morning, I think.*FLASHBACK SCENE*...

Our teacher gave us a assignment, we had to write a composition choosing from seven statements to start a compo and the second draft is graded, so during class, our teacher gave us a piece of story line plan. I chose"Something brushed up against my feet, and my surprise turned to horror when I looked down and saw..."
I sat in class for about 15 minutes thinking and talking to my friends.(Mostly talking.) I was really, really bored and had not much idea to fill it in, so under all this conditions, I created this! (Original idea from me, not from the guy I was talking to, in-case-you-are-wondering.)

Most have watched too many war movies lately...

Hi all,

This is my first LOL slices, so I will start with a incident that happen all the way back to Primary 6, after the PSLE, *FLASHBACK SCENE*...

CAST
-Dexter(Freakin tall guy, 2m! A bit stingy...)
-Ji Kang(One of my good friend!)
-Zhen Yi(Freakin short guy, 1.2m!)
-Me(Most important guy, very blur!)

So anyway, that time PSLE was over, so we all gathered up to concentrate on our project, we decided to meet up at NorthPoint. So I arrived first and waited , after a while everyone was here. As everyone still hadn't had their lunch yet, we decided to eat at Mcdonalds before buying the materials for our project.
Then, Zhen Yi had the idea of whoever reach Mcdonalds last have to buy everyone drinks.
So the race was on, and for some strange reason, maybe because it involves food, I ran incredibly fast and reach there as 2nd last. Dexter was last.
So everyone was like"YAY FREE DRINKS!", except Dexter of course... Then we all queued up and ordered our burger,no fries, no drinks(For the three of us.) When I got my burger, everyone already found a seat. So I joined them.
I noticed that there were 2 upsized drinks on the table, so I tried the first one. It was empty. And I was thinking"Wow, these guys drink really fast..." I then grabbed the second one, I told from the weight that it was rather full, so I gulped a mouthful."Mmm... Lemon Tea, it will do."
When I said that, everyone was looking at me in a shocked way.
"What!?"I asked.
"Dude, Dexter didn't buy us any drinks, these two drinks were already here when we came to the table..."

Hi all,

As you know(or not),Earth Hour is coming up soon, it is on March 28, 8.30p.m., in case you missed all those commercial everywhere(or live in cave, but if you live in cave, how do you access the internet?), you are supposed to turn off your light for one hour, just one hour. Many business and 80 countries is taking part in this and the organisers hope to get 1 million vote(in another word, switched off light switch), please do you part as every vote counts.(I know this is cliché and stuff, but I can't come up with anything better.)I will be posting this on the class blog too, by the way. Oh and I almost forgot, the link is www.earthhour.org.

Cheers,

[I only put my name because I realise all of my friends put their name on the blog, and no, it is not a girl's name.(Girl's name is Zhi Yi) and all kinds of attempt at ridiculing my name has been done before(Really) so please do not attempt any.]

P.S:Wondering why did I used "[]" instead of "()"? Because I learnt in Mathematics that the bracket outside a round bracket is a square one. ( I know that this is a pathetic attempt at humour, but I cannot think of anything else today.)

Hi all,

The 90th anniversary of Hwa Chong Instituition yesterday was really something. For those of you who didn't want to buy the tickets (talking to my classmates), too bad! You really missed a lot; a lot more than just one page of the newspaper can cover. There was food, (lots of food for that matter). I cannot remember the exact sequence of the events, but there was the singing of the school song, (very very slowly) then there was the buns, the shark fin soup,(yes, I know how they kill the sharks for the fin, thankyouverymuch.),sushi(not the real sashimi, just sushi), sohton and fried stuff(yay fried stuff).
Then was the singing of 满江红, (did I mention that you have to stand up for the songs?) and the string orchestra, can't remember when did they play, too busy concentrating on the food. Oh right, they also served fried fish with pineapple, 佛跳墙, fried duck and broccoli with abalone, (blessing or a curse?)
I can't exactly remember what happened next because I was having a joke telling competition with my friends. Finally, came dessert, (in my opinion, the main course), but my parents (who obviously don't understand the importance of desserts) decided to go home before the official release time so that they will not be caught in the jam,(after all, the 万人宴 kinda give away how monstrous the event will be.) so I was unable to get a piece of dessert.(Curses!)
But our school was full of surprises, they did not just left us on our own to get to turf city where we were recommended to park the cars, they had a fleet (ok, just about 5 or more) of shuttle
buses ready to take us to turf city!
I wonder what our school will do for the 100th anniversary.

Thought deeply about where can't you enter a mirror in K1.
My conclusion? Because the other guy in the mirror will block you with the same body parts that you try to enter the mirror with... And still now I still believe in it...
Spent my childhood dismantling stuff. I think would be spending the rest of my life wondering how to fix them back together...
"Invested" most of my pocket money on comics...

Favorite novels author used to be Roald Dahl.
Now is Roald Dahl and Eoin Colfer. (It is pronounced "Owen", by the way.)
Taken a liking to Murderous Maths. Author's name? Kjartan Poskitt.
Favorite authors all seem to have a unusual name...

The time I got a Nintendo DS, I polished it at least twice everyday for a week...
Almost cried the time I dropped it on the floor...

My lifetime ambitions?
Be a Scientist(or a Philosopher?)
To eat a 冰糖葫芦. (Those you see in the movies.)
Building a snowman. (With carrots and stuff.)
Swimming in a room filled with candies where I can eat candies just by opening my mouth. (...What!?...)
Filling a bag full with candies and carrying it to school. (So I can eat candies wherever I am)

Now studying in Hwa Chong Institution, and racing in this crazy Mario Game.
