Hi all,

I shall be discussing about the issue of PROCRASTINATION today.

Do not laugh! Do not Scoff! Procrastination is a very serious issue! Why, if the power of procrastination can be harvested, the world will have no more need for fossil fuels! We will have zero carbon emission! And the world will be a greener one! Why stare at the sun (and burn your eyes) to look for new energy resources when there is a unlimited supply of it in each and every one of us? The power of procrastination will never run out! It will always be easy accessible, day or night! And everyone, young or old can contribute to a greener world!
Support a greener future! Support Procrastination!

Okay... Got a bit too far over there. Anyway, Procrastination is a power not to be messed with, why it is even CONTAGIOUS!!! (as demonstrated in the following comic slides.)

Let's hear it from other sources:

Wikipedia:

Procrastination refers to the deferment of actions or tasks to a later time. Psychologists often cite such behavior as a mechanism for coping with the anxiety associated with starting and/or completing any task or decision. There are three criteria for a behavior to be classified as procrastination: it must be counterproductive, needless, and delaying.

Dictionary.com:

pro⋅cras⋅ti⋅nate

[proh-kras-tuh-neyt, pruh-] Show IPAverb, -nat⋅ed, -nat⋅ing.
–verb (used without object)
1. to defer action; delay: to procrastinate until an opportunity is lost.
–verb (used with object)
2. to put off till another day or time; defer; delay.

As you can see, procrastination is a very fearful thing indeed. It is counterproductive, unneeded, delaying, could cause in opportunity lost and is contagious! How much worse can it be! It is like the road to failure which is made of a giant magnet and every one of us is wearing metal!

How can we stop it? Why, by taking off your giant suit of metal of course! You will be no longer attracted to the road of failure! No, I do not mean that literally, (even though if you are really wear a giant suit of metal, take it off now, that is this new material called cotton that had being invented in the last century.)

Look in your room now, what is bright, shiny, and full of metal? Why your computer of course! Yes, the computer you are sitting in front of right now. Yes, the one that you are reading my blog with. And yes, if you have a tab opened to Wikipedia article about procrastination, one opened to Dictionary.com, four opened when you clicked the comics and one tab that you are reading right now, which is my blog,a source of procrastination, you are most definitely procrastinating.

So you want to fight procrastination? Then throw your thousand dollars worthed laptop/desktop out of the window, take a hammer and smash anything made of metal in your house, lock yourself in your own room (along with your homeworks), then proceed to smash the keys to pieces, take out your pen and start doing your homework, when you are done, then proceed to smash the smithereens out of the pen, the lock on your door and lastly the gate. Now that felt good didn't it? You just completed work that you would have delayed months and months after didn't you? Oh, you want to share the joy and experience to others? Then what better way to do it then to take the sledgehammer and your new-found wisdom to other people's house and destroy their source of procrastination?

Oh me? What about my house? Is it full of metals? Never mind, you do not need to care about me, no need to come to my house and smash everything, as a matter of fact, I already signed a contract with a scientist to be the future source of energy! Yes, in fact, when he had finished developing the technology to harvest procrastination, I will be supplying all your energy needs!

Energy needs for what? Erm.... For your wooden appliances, wooden tv, and wooden laptop of course! Go on! Don't mind me! Go forth and spread your wisdom in avoiding procrastination! Make me proud!

Cheers,

Hi all,

This is a blog updates summary, even though technically my previous two posts are somewhat about blog updates, their purpose seems to be more of criticising html's user unfriendliness and the Youtube's evil plot to take over the cyber world. Hey, they went pretty off-topic... Hmm....

Anyway, here are the summaries of my blog updates!

1.Blogskin

Well, is elaboration really needed? Seriously, would you prefer the same old black, dark, boring, blogskin with practically no pictures at all OR do you like this new blogskin with pictures of Mario and Luigi fighting Bowser and Bowser J.r with BOMBS and in RACING CARTS!?Seriously, look at it! It is Mario! And Bombs! And Racing Carts! How can you not like that?

2.Music Player

The update that gave me the most trouble.

More than twelve hours spent initially, from picking websites that supply music players, to creating accounts, to creating and carefully picking musics and repeatedly trying them out in my blog to make sure they work.

After that, there was Youtube's case of not letting people play their songs without displaying video, which spent me about a quarter of a day figuring that out. (Half of that time was spent swearing at html's user unfriendliness as I thought the problem lied within the html template in my blog.)

But now it is up and running! With my favorite songs I might add. Stay and Listen!

3.Tagboard

Basically, this is more of a attempt to balance out the side effect of the new blogskin as it permanently removed the ability to comment. And since I am not a html expert, I have absolutely no idea how to retain the "comment" button below each post, so a tagboard is now present at the sidebar to make up for that.

4. Hit Counter

And Lastly, hit counter! To show how many people have visited my blog! :3

Thought deeply about where can't you enter a mirror in K1.
My conclusion? Because the other guy in the mirror will block you with the same body parts that you try to enter the mirror with... And still now I still believe in it...
Spent my childhood dismantling stuff. I think would be spending the rest of my life wondering how to fix them back together...
"Invested" most of my pocket money on comics...

Favorite novels author used to be Roald Dahl.
Now is Roald Dahl and Eoin Colfer. (It is pronounced "Owen", by the way.)
Taken a liking to Murderous Maths. Author's name? Kjartan Poskitt.
Favorite authors all seem to have a unusual name...

The time I got a Nintendo DS, I polished it at least twice everyday for a week...
Almost cried the time I dropped it on the floor...

My lifetime ambitions?
Be a Scientist(or a Philosopher?)
To eat a 冰糖葫芦. (Those you see in the movies.)
Building a snowman. (With carrots and stuff.)
Swimming in a room filled with candies where I can eat candies just by opening my mouth. (...What!?...)
Filling a bag full with candies and carrying it to school. (So I can eat candies wherever I am)

Now studying in Hwa Chong Institution, and racing in this crazy Mario Game.
