OMG!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! okwaitaminuteformetocalmdown....
ok... here goes...

Hi all,

Wondering why am I so freaking_____ (choose your adjective!!!----- *Strange* *PANICKY* *Weird*) today? I will tell you why!!!!
It all started out with Hwa Chong Judo Club's "rich" and "honorable" tradition, (beside the one to bond(you know what I mean, don't act dumb)birthday boy on that day and to spray muscle relaxant found in the first aid box in between HIS legs. OOPS, too much info there. MOVING ON)
Anyway what was I saying? Oh yes, the tradition. The tradition to cut their hair during the June holiday to so-called "prepare" for the inter-school competition during July. It doesn't sound so bad, does it? Well... Here is the catch. You must "cut" your hair until 3mm. Not the just the sides, the whole head. So your head will look like a egg when you are done. And believe I am not lying. The only point of this, I see so far, was to transform "Hwa Chong Judo Club" to "Hwa Chong ShaoLin Temple" That is the only reason I see for this shaving. But according to our senior, RI Judo Club does not shave, so what is the point of looking like the Great Laughing Buddha?
Anyway, being the nice, obedient, respectful and most important of all... humble boy that I am, I went to the barber to get a *ugh* haircut. She was like just using the razor, gliding it across my scalp to give me my new *ugh* haircut. No scissors required. So now I had transformed into... KUNGFU PANDA!!! I am from China, in Judo, fat and look like very weird... And from now on, for my hair I shall use!: "

CLEAR
NO SHAMPOO

I breath..
I move…
I sweat..
with the world watching…
my hair..
my clothes..
i like black..
black is confident…
black looks good..
looking good means no hair
confidence means no hair
clear means no hair
i trust clear..
hair never comes back
my name is Sun…
My head is so shiny that it outshine the sun!

Well... Anyway... I will be wearing a cap when I go out. So if you see someone who you saw in a commercial for shampoo and bare a strange resemblance to Kungfu Panda and wearing a Cambridge/Beijing Olympic cap, look out, I mean look away, I don't want to blind you...

Cheers? Ziying Guy with a Bo-Tah head

Hi all,

Here is my second NXT Creation I did during the holidays! (I would not be posting about my third one for quite some time.)

My second and the one that I am most proud in yet! MG NEST!

I found instructions on the Internet on how to build this, (yup, still not smart enough to create one myself.) This thing is a machine gun, on automatic, it fires away all 10 1*3 blocks in less than 3 seconds. The clip can only hold 10 at a time but an additional 5 can be added when the clip block is removed. The accuracy is 60% when the target is a metre far. The machine gun will tremble a lot when it is been fired and believe me, you do not want to be a target. Even if this thing maybe a toy. The long black stick at the right side of the gun will hit the 1*2 blocks when the touch sensor is pressed.(Press means going down without coming up.) The black stick will spin at 8 revolution per second and it will the blocks, sending it flying. Therefore, the accuracy is not high. Marks will also be left on the blocks. I have tried tieing a tiny piece of eraser to the stick so that marks will not be left. It works, but it reduces the range by 50% and accuracy 10%. Anyway, I also wrote a semi-automatic program. In this program, the stick will only spin one revolution when the touch sensor is bumped.(Bumped means pressed and released.) It is a complete failure, not only it fire two blocks at a time, but with reduced force and 75% of the blocks will not be fired successfully. I think I am sticking to fully-automatic for now.
Total-8/10
Building Complexity-9/10
Program Complexity-5/10
Entertainment-9/10
Adaptation-7/10

Hi all,

Hey guys how is it going? By now you should be grasping my blog's content, right? I tend to avoid serious or negative stuff and try to make everything as interesting as possible, unless it is very large-scale and I care about it a lot, like Earth-Day. So, in this post, I should be talking about Mother's Day! Not Mother's Day in general but the present I made for my Mom! (YAY! I AM EGOISTIC!)

Initial Idea: 5 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with strings.
I bought 5 flowers on Saturday, came back with it, fill up a bottle with water and left the flowers in it near a window until Sunday. (I actually left them on the carpet but the bottle fell on its own,(seriously), spilling water all over the carpet.) Then today I took the flower out,(they still have not being cut at all, BTW) got some needles and strings and did something crazy with them,(No, not going on a mad killing spree with a needle.)I poke the needle with string through the stem of the flower. I struggled with the strings and trying to keep the flower upright and poking needle through the flower for 1 hour.

2nd Idea: 5 cut flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string, on a platform made of ice cream stick.
Pretty self explanatory, ay? I got some ice-cream stick, arranged two layers, glued them together. Then, I cut the flowers, fumbled with them for a while, realising again that they still cannot stand on their own as white glue ages long to dry.

3rd Idea: (I don't know how did I get this Idea.) 4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick.
This is by far the most ridiculous thing I did with a needle, I hammered 4 of them into the platform and eventually ended up with 2/3 of the needle on the underside of the platform.
I pulled the needles out again, place the stem in position, and hammered the needles into the stem, into the platform. Now, the flowers are all secured in position but the flower head is not going down enough to form a heart shape and the flowers can freely spin 360 degree.

4th Idea: 4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick and the flower head is being pulled down by a string tied to it with the other end of the string tied to the needle.
And that is exactly what I did, now, they form a heart shape more or less but they can still spin freely.

5th Idea:4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick and the flower head is being pulled down by a string tied to it with the other end of the string tied to the needle. The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together.
You get the idea. And by now, I noticed that the strings pulling the flowers down were unnecessary as the central flower is securing their position, but still does not solve the problem of spinning.

6th Idea:4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together.
The spinning problem is still not solved....

7th Idea:4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together. Needles were used to poke through the stems at the side along with the central stem.
This is pretty hard to explain, you will get the idea when you see the picture. Then my dad suggest me to write something on it.

8th Idea: 4 flowers tied into a 3-D heart shape with string and secured into position with needles, on a platform made of ice cream stick The 1 flower left is secured in the central of the platform with a big needle hammered in from the underside. The part where all the flowers meet is tied together. Needles were used to poke through the stems at the side along with the central stem. The petals in the flower in the middle were spread out by hand and a message was place in it.
YAY! Photo time! Now you will get what I mean!

Click on the picture, you will get what I am trying to say the whole time. Believe it or not, I actually made this with next to no or NO planning at the start! Sorry, I am not that good at describing stuff. And plus, a picture is worth a thousand word, YAY TECHNOLOGY!!!!

Hi all,

In this post, in order to meet the criteria of the blog posts, I am FORCED to talk about Animal Farm. I will try to make this as entertaining as my low-levelled creativity allowed, ok... Here goes nothing!

There was a story about animals,
Food been given to them was minimal.
The farmer was cruel, and they suffered,
He used to be good, now he's a drunkard.
A pig called Old Major had an idea,
All animals will get the same quota.
Food,Water,Work load will all be the same,
For all animals that is what he aimed.
They were all inspired and they unite,
The pigs became leader, it seemed alright.
Finally, one day they all revolute,
Out went Jones who changed after a lawsuit.
Oh the Joy! They galloped, they slept, they ate,
Mr Jones' reign they all then cremate.
Snowball, Napoleon, Squealer were leaders,
They gave out instructions to all creatures.
They memorised Major's every sentence,
Turned them into The Seven Commandments.
At first Animal Farm started out well,
But after corruption it became hell.
Snowball, he was expelled by vicious dogs,
And Squealer used his talent to befog.
What really took place,helping Napoleon,
His cruelty had stained the ground crimson.
The animals were no longer equal,
The pigs had their rations more than doubled.
The utopia that everyone hoped for,
Was actually even worse than before.

Is there anyone still alive!? Hello!? It was a little too boring...

Cheers,
Ziying

Hi all,

As you know, but most likely not, I am rather ok at drawings. Ok, I am nothing compared to those guys at Art Elective programme. I cannot really draw my own things or characters out of thin air. Instead, I am good at copying things, (not tracing, tracing are for kids) everything from 3-D to 2-D,(as if there is anything in between, LOLOLOL geddit?), but I am still not rather skillfull at drawing faces.
Here are some sketches, I hope they do not make you blind...

My first sketch on a 3-D thing, drawn during a very boring geography lecture. Took me about 30 minutets to 1 hour. It is caculator, in case it is too ugly for you to make it out. Not really my finest work...

Drawn today, (I can't find all the sketch between the first one and the second one, so there.) During a very very boring Japanese class. Took me about 10 minutes to 30 minutes. They are the speakers and the computers. Still not good enough...

Ahh... My masterpiece... I drawn this today after the second one when the Japanese Class reaches the climax of boredom, I decided that I had enough of rough sketches, I am going to make a complete work! So I draw and draw and erase and erase. It took me about 2 hours - 3 hours, but it my best work till today! Quick! Click it fullscreen to marvel at it! Quick! By the way, it is a handphone.

Wonder what will I be able to draw next time...

Cheers,

Hi all,

As you know(or not),Earth Hour is coming up soon, it is on March 28, 8.30p.m., in case you missed all those commercial everywhere(or live in cave, but if you live in cave, how do you access the internet?), you are supposed to turn off your light for one hour, just one hour. Many business and 80 countries is taking part in this and the organisers hope to get 1 million vote(in another word, switched off light switch), please do you part as every vote counts.(I know this is cliché and stuff, but I can't come up with anything better.)I will be posting this on the class blog too, by the way. Oh and I almost forgot, the link is www.earthhour.org.

Cheers,
Ziying
[I only put my name because I realise all of my friends put their name on the blog, and no, it is not a girl's name.(Girl's name is Zhi Yi) and all kinds of attempt at ridiculing my name has been done before(Really) so please do not attempt any.]

P.S:Wondering why did I used "[]" instead of "()"? Because I learnt in Mathematics that the bracket outside a round bracket is a square one. ( I know that this is a pathetic attempt at humour, but I cannot think of anything else today.)

Hi all,

The 90th anniversary of Hwa Chong Instituition yesterday was really something. For those of you who didn't want to buy the tickets (talking to my classmates), too bad! You really missed a lot; a lot more than just one page of the newspaper can cover. There was food, (lots of food for that matter). I cannot remember the exact sequence of the events, but there was the singing of the school song, (very very slowly) then there was the buns, the shark fin soup,(yes, I know how they kill the sharks for the fin, thankyouverymuch.),sushi(not the real sashimi, just sushi), sohton and fried stuff(yay fried stuff).
Then was the singing of 满江红, (did I mention that you have to stand up for the songs?) and the string orchestra, can't remember when did they play, too busy concentrating on the food. Oh right, they also served fried fish with pineapple, 佛跳墙, fried duck and broccoli with abalone, (blessing or a curse?)
I can't exactly remember what happened next because I was having a joke telling competition with my friends. Finally, came dessert, (in my opinion, the main course), but my parents (who obviously don't understand the importance of desserts) decided to go home before the official release time so that they will not be caught in the jam,(after all, the 万人宴 kinda give away how monstrous the event will be.) so I was unable to get a piece of dessert.(Curses!)
But our school was full of surprises, they did not just left us on our own to get to turf city where we were recommended to park the cars, they had a fleet (ok, just about 5 or more) of shuttle
buses ready to take us to turf city!
I wonder what our school will do for the 100th anniversary.

Thought deeply about where can't you enter a mirror in K1.
My conclusion? Because the other guy in the mirror will block you with the same body parts that you try to enter the mirror with... And still now I still believe in it...
Spent my childhood dismantling stuff. I think would be spending the rest of my life wondering how to fix them back together...
"Invested" most of my pocket money on comics...

Favorite novels author used to be Roald Dahl.
Now is Roald Dahl and Eoin Colfer. (It is pronounced "Owen", by the way.)
Taken a liking to Murderous Maths. Author's name? Kjartan Poskitt.
Favorite authors all seem to have a unusual name...

The time I got a Nintendo DS, I polished it at least twice everyday for a week...
Almost cried the time I dropped it on the floor...

My lifetime ambitions?
Be a Scientist(or a Philosopher?)
To eat a 冰糖葫芦. (Those you see in the movies.)
Building a snowman. (With carrots and stuff.)
Swimming in a room filled with candies where I can eat candies just by opening my mouth. (...What!?...)
Filling a bag full with candies and carrying it to school. (So I can eat candies wherever I am)

Now studying in Hwa Chong Institution, and racing in this crazy Mario Game.
